Tristan and Doyle, we were born 91 days apart. I thank God for giving Tristan a few days to prepare for me! We went to high school together and exchanged smiles regularly. Our paths didnt cross too often during those years, but looking back there were clues to what lay ahead. I remember watching her cheer at football games and dont remember the games. There was a teen night dance that we spent some time together, again a God wink. We graduated and went on our different paths, but wouldnt you know it, I made a friend at the auto auction. He was a Grey haired gentleman with a big smile and a fun personality. His name was Don Greene, unknown to me Don would drop my name to Tristan pretty often. She would always wonder why. Again, God!Time would pass , and Tristan would cross my mind occasionally, but we seldom ran into each other. However when Tristan ran into people from home, many times they would ask her if she knew Doyle Hollifield. After this happened several times, in frustration she asked Whats so special about Doyle? Again, God would cross our paths. I sent Tristan a message and eventually she replied. We made plans to have dinner and my life has been forever changed. Im thankful that I had the opportunity to get to know the man that would one day be my Father in Law. Though The Good Lord needed him before Tristan and I would get together. We definitely believe he was pulling the puppet strings from Heaven! We thank God for blessing our lives, joining our families, and Blessing us with each other.
